Close Knit Knittery & Press opened it's doors on July 1, 2008 in Gastonia, NC (20 minutes outside Charlotte). Sheri welcomed me with such gratitude and an overwhelmingly enthusiasm for knitting! Its located in a charming bungalow style home in the heart of Gastonia. The minute you walk in you're hit with beautiful fiber goodness! The shop is very organized and filled with a good variety of colors to choose from. If you're in the area, definitely stop and welcome them to the knitting world!
A Cascade of Colors!
This room is filled with the perfect yarns for baby projects. I just love the picket fence!
More yarns........
Have a great 4th of July!

Thanks for sharing the pictures - the shop looks soo pretty and neat and colorful! I'll have to take a road trip soon! :)

Wow. I don't live close by, but if I did, I would so go to that shop. Love the layout and of course the yarn. That sheep by the mirror is too cute. Enjoy your 4th of July.

Thanks for posting this! I'd heard a rumor about a yarn store opening in Gastonia. When I did a Google search, your post popped right up. I live in Gaston County, and up until now the only choices have been craft stores (Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart) or mail order. Wal-Mart suits my needs most of the time, but it's nice to have a local choice if I want something special.
